According to the VDF Deed Restrictions, any changes made to your house or property must be submitted for approval and review to the Architectural Control Committee. This includes but is not limited to painting your house, an addition to your house, replacing your roof, new landscaping, installing a fence, shed, or pool.
When you submit a request for review - The following are REQUIRED: a written description of your plans on the ACC forms, an official lot survey and or site/plot plan drawn to scale depicting dimensions, setbacks, exterior materials and colors.
If you are painting your house include paint color samples.
Paint colors accepted in the community include earth tones and neutral colors such as beiges, browns, and grays. Variations of colors MAY be considered but ALL paint color requests MUST be reviewed and approved by the committee.
**The newly adopted VDF PAINT Color Book is now available for use. There is one copy at Greenacre Properties on Gunn Hwy and one is available on site at Amy's house. Call 926-2016 if you want to borrow the color book.

***BEFORE you submit a request to paint your house, you must FIRST review the color book and pick a scheme from the book. Then submit your request with the scheme number and the color paint samples from the paint store. THANK you for following our procedures.***
If you are replacing your roof include a roof color sample and roofing style.
If you are installing a fence include a fence color sample, style and location of the fence on your property. Include a survey, plot plan to show the location on your property.
Mail the ACC forms (2 pages), the survey, plot/site plan and any color samples to:

The Architectural Control Committee meets MONTHLY on the THIRD Saturday of each month at 4 pm at the Tennis Center. We meet in the front meeting room. Residents are invited to attend these meetings. Upcoming meeting dates for 2010:

***Starting Jan 1, 2010 the first two ACC applications are FREE. The third application is $10 and any thereafter are $50 per application. You must submit a check with your application once you are on your third application.***
